Summer School 2012
Summer School 2012 will be held at the excellent studio facilities of PACE and the Dance Department at De Montfort University, Leicester.
FCD certified with 25 CPD credits aligned with industry approved National Occupational Standards in Dance Leadership, these courses support your leadership to generate work and develop your dance leading in participatory settings.
We will be running five different courses this year. Click on the titles below for more information.
Introductory course:
Pathway courses:
The introductory course is open to anyone who is 18 years old or over who has dance experience in any dance genre and wishes to enter the profession or have a refresher course. This course provides learning to support you to improve how you set up and lead dance sessions in for example; schools, community centres, youth clubs, health or social care settings.
The pathway courses are open to anyone 18 years old or over who has at least two years of experience in leading dance with groups and wants to improve their skill at leading dance and learn more about applying their knowledge to work with specific settings or people.
We don't do special offers for later bookings so it's always best to get in as early as you can to reduce the cost to you!
