National Dance Company Wales (NDCWales) is seeking a new Chair of Trustees to lead its Board. With a new leadership team in place, and after a period of creative and operational renewal, NDCWales has plans to increase and diversify its performance programme, reach new audiences and participants, and to capitalise on its role as an ambassador for Wales in the UK and overseas.
The Board of trustees meets four times a year. The Chair is expected to attend performances, meet regularly with the Chief Executive and Artistic Director, and represent the Company in support of fundraising and advocacy. The expected time commitment is one to two days per month, and the position is not remunerated, although out of pocket expenses can be paid.
