Stopgap are looking for inclusive Dance Teachers and Teaching Assistants in Norwich and Norfolk.

Stopgap have received funding from Spirit of 2012 to work with schools in the Norwich and Norfolk area and are looking to employ dance teachers and assistants to run weekly sessions.

Description of role: If you are a patient, generous, inventive, adaptive and experienced dance teacher who would be interested in working with disabled and non-disabled young people then please get in touch.

The classes will run weekly in term-time from September 2017 until May 2018. The sessions will be building up to a flagship performance at Norwich and Norfolk Festival 2018 involving Stopgap’s professional dancers and the community groups.

The day will include the opportunity to share your teaching skills in the morning followed by an interview in the afternoon.

How to Apply
Interested teachers and teaching assistants should be available on Tuesday 9 May and send CV and a covering letter outlining their interest in working with Stopgap to Charlotte Mackie on admin@stopgapdance.com by Tuesday 2 May 2017, no later than noon.

Everyone applying for a Teacher role must be available to come to Surrey 21-25 August 2017 to receive Stopgap inclusive dance training and learn the performance repertoire they will be teaching the groups. All costs will be covered.
