Can you help us get more people involved in dance? Yorkshire Dance currently has an exciting new opportunity for a Development Officer, working within the senior management team to help move the organisation forwards.
Yorkshire Dance champions the value of dance and its development in Yorkshire, creating opportunities for people of all ages, backgrounds and abilities to see, make and take part in high quality dance. Alongside this, we support artists and practitioners to research, create and present new contemporary work.
Yorkshire Dance currently have an exciting new opportunity for a Development Officer, working with our senior management team to help us move towards the next stage in our growth.
This position is ideal for someone who is ready to take the next step in their fundraising career, and includes opportunities for professional support and mentoring.
About the role
You will be a dynamic people person and team player who thrives on working with a wide range of people. You will enjoy using your initiative alongside your experience of the arts, public and charitable sectors to develop creative approaches to raising awareness and income for a wide range of projects and services undertaken by Yorkshire Dance. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills. Flexibility in hours and some travel outside the region may be required.
