Blue Boy Entertainment (BBE) is seeking to recruit an Executive Director. This role is hugely exciting, and provides an entrepreneur with the opportunity to help us shape, grow and establish UK and international touring and education programmes. We are looking for someone who wants to fully use their entrepreneurial skills and engage with our ethos to take risks and grow a successful company.

The Olivier award winning (2007) hip-hop dance company Boy Blue Entertainment (BBE) aims to promote, improve and advance education through the encouragement of the arts, with a particular focus on UK urban arts; including hip hop dance and music through the creation of hip hop dance theatre productions presented nationally and internationally. With a connected thriving education and access programme to promote and engagement with the arts across all ages and backgrounds BBE are an Artistic Associate of the Barbican, with their office biased at the Barbican.

The company delivers workshops, daily classes and provides other opportunities for young people from the age of 4 years upwards to come together, engage with the creative arts and learn to express themselves through movement and music; with future aims to expand this across the UK With the recent developments of a new BBE BTEC programme in East London and the placement of EOE on the AQA specification, the BBE Education programme and company as a whole is currently going through a period of change, supported by Arts Council England via their Elevate fund. This includes the development of the commercial, touring and agency side of the company, growing the business model into a stainable business and maximising on potential new (commercial and non commercial) income streams.
