This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role within the dx Production and Touring team supporting the regular dx performance programme, International Dance Festival Birmingham and our Artist Development Programme including working with our Associate and Commissioned Artists.
DanceXchange is looking for a self motivated and confident individual with strong organisational skills and an enthusiasm for dance to support the Executive Producer to deliver our vision for the Production and Touring Hub programme and artist development work. You will be degree level educated and have 3 years’ experience in arts performance and/or arts administration environment.
Purpose of the Post
- To coordinate and administrate across Production and Touring Hub (PATH) programmes including Performance programme and Artist Development programme.
- To coordinate and administrate across International Dance Festival Birmingham (IDFB) performance programme and professional development activities.
Key responsibilities
- To coordinate and be responsible for logistics and delivery of all performances and events in both The Patrick Centre and International Dance Festival Birmingham external venues.
- To coordinate and be responsible for logistics and delivery of the Artist Development programme including dx Associates and dx Choreography Award schemes and professional classes.
