This is a unique opportunity for a recent graduate at diploma level to work closely with Yorkshire Dance’s Youth & Community team and gain a broad, hands-on introduction to all aspects of inclusive dance practice, administration and project co-ordination.
Based at our offices in Leeds city centre, you will support the delivery and management of an exciting and varied range of dance activities and special projects working with young people and community groups. You will also have the chance to develop key administrative and co-ordination skills, vital for a future career in this area.
You will need to demonstrate an aptitude for working with young people and community groups and a highly motivated and organised approach. The role will include occasional evening and weekend work.
The internship is paid at national living wage (£7.20 ph). We envisage the role starting in September 2016.
Hours: Full time – 37.5 hours per week
Contract: 12 months fixed term (to September 2017)
