Advertising Terms & Conditions
The terms and conditions described below cover the various ways of advertising with People Dancing.

  • Advertisements for publication in Animated magazine, on the People Dancing website or in the Jobs E-newsletter are accepted at the discretion of People Dancing who reserve the right to withhold publication.
  • Advertisers and their agents warrant that copy and images do not infringe any law and contain no matter that is libellous or objectionable.
  • Advert booking dates are subject to availability at the time of booking, therefore it is advised that you enquire about booking your advert at least two months prior to the adverts’ copy date.
  • Advertisers should allow at least five working days, from the time of booking confirmation between the advertiser and People Dancing for Website and Jobs advertisements to be placed on the website.
  • Jobs advertisements: will only appear in the fortnightly Jobs E-newsletter until their deadline or for a maximum of 28 days. Website advertisements: will appear on the People Dancing website for 28 days only.
  • Payments for Website and Jobs advertising: Once an advert booking has been confirmed between the advertiser and People Dancing an invoice will be sent to the advertiser for payment within 30 days.

  • People Dancing members rates: Website and Jobs adverts will only be charged at the People Dancing members rate when the client or organisation placing the advert is a current People Dancing member.
  • VAT: All advertisements are subject to VAT at the appropriate rate, where applicable. If your organisation is a registered charity and you wish to claim VAT exemption on advertising you must provide your registered charity number at the time of booking.
  • Advert cancellation: In the event of website ad order cancellations by the client: 25% of the quote is payable if cancellation before a proof has been emailed/faxed to the client. 50% of the quote is payable if website adverts are cancelled after the proof has been approved by the client but the advert is not yet visible on the People Dancing website, 100% of the quote is payable if the advert is posted on the People Dancing website but is then cancelled and removed before the application deadline date.
