An optional benefit is available for Employers' Liability insurance and an add-on for occasional Pilates teaching cover is available*.
Professional Individual membership and Professional Organisation membership is open to all individuals and organisations in the UK involved in community and participatory dance at a professional level. This scheme is designed for dance artists, dance teachers, dance organisations, dance companies, and arts organisations that provide community and participatory dance - either as a main focus or as part of a broader portfolio of work in dance/the arts. Professional Organisation membership DOES NOT include insurance benefits. The cover included in Professional Individual memberships will commence once a successful payment is made. We will send your certificate of cover and policy wording including membership confirmation as soon as possible. However, if you urgently require confirmation of your membership and insurance, you must give us at least 2 days notice to process this request. You may use your receipt as proof of purchase if you have paid online, or contact us directly for further assistance.
Professional Code of Conduct: It is a condition of access to the Civil Liability Insurance protection cover to sign up to the FCD Professional Code of Conduct. The Code of Conduct confers your professional status with our insurers, who provide the insurance element of your membership with FCD.
