Do you offer any funding?
The Foundation for Community Dance does not provide any funding. However, you can find out about funding external opportunities from the following places:
- for various on-going and one-off funding opportunities for individuals and groups/organisations, go to Funding.
- for funding for individuals for Further and Higher education, vocational dance training, on-going training and continuing professional development, go to Community Dance in Higher Education.
Do you employ dance practitioners?
No, the Foundation for Community Dance does not actually employ any dance practitioners so please do not send us CVs. However, to find out about job opportunities related to community dance across the UK go to Jobs.
Using this website
Can I submit information to be put onto this website?
Yes, you can submit information about Community Dance related jobs, professional development opportunities, resources, news and any information about dance and disabled people.
At present we don't include information about regular dance classes, performances and community events. Auditions will only be advertised if they are specifically related to community and education work.
To submit:
- a job, go to Recruitment Advertising
- any information about dance and disabled people, go to Dance and disabled people e-newsletters
- any other information, email it to alex@communitydance.org.uk. If possible include your logo and/or an accompanying image in jpg format.
We will do our best to include information submitted and we reserve the right to edit it for reasons of style, content or space, but please note that we receive information about hundreds of opportunities to go onto our website and quite simply don’t have the time to put them all on, so we don’t make any concrete promises. If your information doesn't get put on the website, it is not a reflection on the significance or the quality of the information that you send!
