Dance and Ethics Seminar

Coming soon in 2010! Date to be confirmed, London

What is appropriate touch for effective dance practice, and how might we communicate about this when setting up our projects? How does this affect a dancer's practice in leading in these settings?

This seminar from the National College for Community Dance focuses on the importance of touch, building upon debate led by Miranda Tufnell (independent dance artist writer and teacher) around research on what is happening in complementary fields of practice including health, education and care settings. Isabel Jones (artistic director, Salamanda Tandem) leads a workshop which provides an opportunity for you to refine and personalise your FCD code of conduct and engage in current debate about issues important to your practice.
