This full-time post will involve managing and developing the company’s Young and Dancing programme for children and young people in both formal and informal educational settings.

The job will also require some practical teaching, facilitating and choreography dance with diverse groups of children and adults within a broad range of education and community settings, including at the company's home base, Oxford House in Bethnal Green, where it is resident dance company.
We are looking for a male or female dance artist who has:
- completed professional training in contemporary dance (to degree-level or equivalent)
- professional experience as a dance artist
- additional knowledge experience of popular or non-western dance forms
- experience in managing and supervising others
- experience of planning, negotiating and setting up projects
- strong communication skills
- at least 3 years' regular teaching experience in schools and community settings
- excellent teaching ability with children, young people and adults of diverse ages, abilities and backgrounds
- a strong commitment to community dance practice and the company's ethos
- good IT skills and a good level of literacy

Salary: Up to 23,000 dependant on skills and experience
