Summer School 2011 was held, as always, at the excellent studio facilities of PACE as part of Dance Department at De Montfort University, Leicester, the courses provoked, inspired and moved our participants and tutors too. Lisa Craddock (Professional Development, FCD) led a session on the new National Occupational Standards for dance and how you can map them against your existing work and courses. Jacqueline McCormick (Dance Director, Cheshire Dance) led a practical dance session focusing on one aspect of the standards; ‘Engaging participants in your sessions whilst meeting their learning needs'.  Read more...
