Welcome to the winter edition of Animated, which at this time of year provides you with a rich diet of articles to keep you warm and hopefully inspire your own work.

We delve into the history and some of the impact of the groundbreaking Ludus Dance and look at some recent work in the fields of aging, health and disability and projects in Guatemala and South Africa.

Importantly, we have provided you with an update from Lisa Craddock on the work the Foundation has been undertaking to develop National Occupational Standards in Dance Leadership, which in the fullness of time will support you to articulate what you do and how good you are at it, as well as helping employers understand better the nature of our work.
