People Dancing Associate Artist Louise Katerega in conversation with dancer and choreographer Marcia Edwards about her transition from dancer to setting up her own community dance company.
Marcia Edwards.

In the recorded conversation below Marcia talks about her transition from dancer to setting up her own community dance company - ME. Marcia’s story offers great insight into how to make the transition.

Her story is very typical for many of us who have found ourselves entering a career in dance, from being encouraged by an inspirational teacher, that audition Flashdance moment and then working out what to do when your performing days are behind you.

Marcia has some down to earth and no-nonsense advice and tips about setting goals, developing networks and knocking on doors with biscuits.
