The Artistic Director will lead on setting the creative vision and ambition for Artsadmin. The role is the focal point for decision-making around Artsadmin’s programme, working alongside the entire team to ensure the organisation’s artistic ambitions can be achieved and our values are upheld in how we work with our partners, participants and audiences.
Taking a long view approach to our commitments to social justice and climate justice, the Artistic Director looks for opportunities to develop a range of projects and partnerships within our home at Toynbee Studios, hyperlocally, nationally and internationally. They will also advocate for sustainability and responses to climate change within the arts.
Together with the Executive Director, they will share joint responsibility for Artsadmin’s long-term organisational resilience. As part of this they will develop, deliver and monitor Artsadmin’s Business Plan, initiate and maintain relationships with key partners, stakeholders and funders including Arts Council England and oversee the development and implementation of Artsadmin’s fundraising and communications.
