Collaborative Doctoral Award with PhD

Coventry University is proud to be one of eight universities in the Midlands4Cities (M4C) Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) funded Doctoral Training Partnership.

The project focuses on working with the ISTD archive, but the scope and perspective of the research should be determined by individual candidates and based on their interests.

The project will be led by Dr Victoria Thoms. Professor, and Centre Director Dr Sarah Whatley will support the project with her extensive experience in archiving dance. Gemma Matthews, Director of Membership and Communications will be the collaborating supervisor at the ISTD, supported also by the ISTD CEO Ginny Brown.
