Epping Forest District Museum Heritage & Culture is seeking to employ a highly motivated and experienced individual for a fixed-term position up until 28 February 2019. This post is part-time: 18 hours per week (occasional weekend and evening work also required).
Part of Epping Forest District Council and based at the museum in Waltham Abbey, the successful candidate will work with the Assistant Museums, Heritage and Culture Manager to develop fundamental aspects of the dance programme.
Building on the museum’s unique offer in a multi-disciplinary Arts and Museum collaborative team, the Dance Engagement post will lead on developing specific programmes to engage with young and older people of all abilities through on-site and outreach work across the district and to make them sustainable.
We are looking for a candidate who has the teaching experience and expertise to deliver varying dance genres to all audiences; who has excellent communication skills and is an innovator in their approach to delivery.
The post also requires a core understanding of project management and administration.
