BLINK Dance Theatre are looking to appoint an experienced and dynamic General Manager to oversee and deliver on our company’s core business strategy as a new ACE NPO, and be central to our bustling weekly activities. This is a senior position working alongside BLINK’s 4 Co-Artistic Directors.

The ideal candidate for this role will have proven experience of working closely with artistic team members in delivering creative projects, financial and project management, and providing high-level administrative support across all departments.

This is a four-day-a-week role, assuming a minimum of 32 hours per week. It is a fixed-term role until March 2026. The post will be based at our new London home in Nine Elms, Wandsworth, but we anticipate a degree of home and flexible working.

Essential Requirements:

  • Good knowledge of ACE funding processes and reporting
  • A commitment to the principles of inclusive ways of working, and equal opportunities
  • At least five years' paid experience in a charity or not-for-profit administration role with a range of tasks
  • Experience of working with computerised accounting systems (preferably Xero)
  • Experience and interest in managing and supporting people and teams
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to establish rapport with a wide range of individuals and organisations
  • Experience of managing budgets - Experience of HR processes (e.g. contracts and recruitment)
  • Ability to work quickly and efficiently and to stay calm under pressure
  • Commitment to working collaboratively within a small team with diverse needs
  • Knowledge of the social and cultural barriers encountered by Deaf, disabled and neurodivergent people
