Kickstarter roles: Gain experience working with People Dancing
Location: Leicester with the option of working remotely, from anywhere in the UK.

Are you aged 16-24 years? Are you receiving Universal Credit? Have you been unemployed for at least six months? Would you like six months’ paid experience working in the arts sector? If you fit the description above, or know someone who does, People Dancing has three Kickstart roles at entry level positions that might be of interest to you.

1. Administrative Assistant: supporting the Programme managers to deliver a range of activities as part of an exciting and innovative national participatory dance programme, to create access to new opportunities for people living with Parkinson’s. The Administrative Assistant will also support the national roll out of new qualifications for the participatory arts sector. Full job details at:

Membership Assistant: supporting the Membership team in the day to day running of the Membership, which supports the development of 3,000 artists and organisations working in the participatory dance sector. The role will include office administration, database management, communications and customer service. Full job details at:

Network Development Assistant: supporting the Network directors to develop, administer and deliver a range of events and activities, as part of our national Early Years, Parkinson’s, Disability and Voice & Presence network programmes,?which connect artists and organisations across the UK and Internationally. The roles are all part time (25 hours a week) and paid at the National Living Wage regardless of age, which is currently £8.91/hour (and will increase to £9.50 from 1 April 2022).
