Purpose of the post:
- To manage and be accountable for LDT/AOC communications, including marketing and social media campaigns to promote Aakash Odedra Company, our Participation Programme and Shiamak Midlands.
- (NB the marketing of Shiamak classes and performances is managed centrally and as Midlands franchisee we are required to work within guidelines provided to us).
Key Responsibilities:
- To implement the audience development and marketing strategy, report on progress against targets and, in partnership with the Producer, revise it annually
- To lead the creation of LDT/AOC communications, including print, direct mailings, e-newsletters, digital policy and action plan and website.
- This includes the Artist Friends scheme and other relevant projects.
To hold delegated responsibility for the marketing budget.
- To develop and protect the LDT/AOC brand
To ensure a clear line of communication throughout the customer journey for audiences and participants, ensuring content is distributed when required both internally and externally.
- To be the main point of contact for our PR Agents
Working with the Producer, to develop film, image and other digital content
- To update the company website and lead the development of a new website 2019/20
To create and nurture media relationships locally, ensuring relevant editorial and coverage for key events and news stories.
- To create a marketing plan and communication trail for each event to achieve audience and financial targets.
- To play a key role in data collection, management, analysis and reporting to Arts Council England and other funders.
- To ensure data collection systems are robust and embedded into communications planning
