Dance City and People Dancing are proud to announce that 11 Million Reasons to Dance, an exhibition of photographs by Sean Goldthorpe, commissioned by People Dancing, will be returning to Dance City, Newcastle for permanent display from January 2018 following a successful national tour.

The exhibition was originally taken to the North East through People Dancing’s strategic touring project, working alongside TIN Arts, and is funded by Arts Council England and Unlimited Impact.

“11 Million Reasons to Dance offers a unique take on disability and dance and absolutely captures the ethos of Dance City, and its quality and vibrancy brings such life and intrigue to the building,” said Alex Anslow, Programme Coordinator at Dance City.

“Excitingly, Jevan Chowdhury's Moving Cities North East exhibition, produced by Moving Art Management, will also be returning to Dance City in January 2018 to be displayed permanently,” she added.

“The two exhibitions complement each other very well and Dance City welcomes all to come and see the beautiful work.”
