The People Dancing Shop brings you an exclusive range of online learning programmes and publications to purchase online. 

We charge different costs for most items for shipping to the UK, European Union and the Rest of the World. Please choose the same region for all your products as we can only take a single delivery address for each individual order.

All prices are inclusive of VAT. Your payment will be processed via PayPal and you have the option to use your PayPal account or a debit/credit card. PayPal will email you a payment confirmation immediately once payment has been successful and you can treat this as your receipt and proof of payment. We aim to send your item to you within 7-10 working days but please refer to each item for specific delivery timescales.

This seven-unit online course, developed by People Dancing and co-authored by the Urban Playground Team, aims to support participatory artists to improve their teaching skills. It covers pre-session preparation, session planning, class structure, teaching and learning theories, assessment and evaluation and developing good practice. It’s relevant to participatory artists working with any population or across a wide range of contexts.

This programme is for those who want to rise to the challenge of working creatively, sensitively and respectfully with Early Years children through dance. Created in partnership with Liz Clark (Turned On Its Head/Our Creative Adventure) and with support from the Meadowbrook Charitable Trust, this, six-unit online learning programme has been designed to help you gain knowledge so that you can feel confident about creating environments where babies, toddlers and preschoolers can explore with their whole bodies and all their senses.

It looks at commercial, subsidised and mixed-income models and pinpoints a range of key skills that help you generate income.

Developed by People Dancing, this course aims to help dancers and dance practitioners understand their legal responsibilities in relation to health and safety at work and provides guidance on what to do in the event that an incident takes place in relation to their class, rehearsal or general practice. Questions within the assessment are provided in a number of formats including multiple choice, true or false, textual comments about pictures, drag and drop and short written answers. Assessment guidance is available here.
