Liz Clark biography

Liz Clark is Associate Artist for Early Years for People Dancing as well as a dance artist who works exclusively in early years and with children with special educational needs. She is Artistic Director of Turned On Its Head, a dance company making dance theatre for 0-4’s, as well as an experienced trainer in movement and creativity.

Liz's work is informed by attachment and neuroscience alongside her love of improvisation. She blogs thoughts and ideas about dance and creativity at as well as leading a Facebook community of early years dance artists to share ideas and support each other, called Dance Ideas 4 Early Years.  

She is passionate about enabling other people’s creativity to blossom, the power of dance to transform relationships and making dance accessible and inclusive.  

Her current work includes: Being Associate Artist for Made in Corby and the commissioned artist on the Talent 25 arts research programme at De Montfort University working with babies 0-2.
