Support us
As a registered charity, People Dancing needs funding support to continue to develop and deliver our programmes and services.
We can achieve this with your help and support.
Please see below for a number of ways you can support us to do our work so we can support you.

If you appreciate the work we do and want to see more of it and feel passionate about seeing the brilliant work done in community and participatory then you can make a donation to us.  Perhaps you have done some fundraising and want to support our work.

You can download a donation form and information to make an easy payment.

People Dancing produce a number of high profile, public-facing events every year. In the past this has included Big Dance, the UK’s largest participatory dance programme, as well as numerous courses, networking days and conferences as well as the large-scale international events in Cardiff (2014) and Glasgow (2017).

If you run a business or know someone who does and you or they are looking for a unique way to ‘give back’ to a wider community we would be delighted to talk to you about creating a bespoke sponsorship package for you and your business.

Linking your business to the ‘business’ of People Dancing will take your brand/product to a whole new audience, showcasing what you do in an innovative way on a whole new stage.

Please get in touch if you would like to explore how you can work with People Dancing through sponsoring our work and events.

Wills and Legacies

People Dancing gratefully accepts bequests.

In 2016 People Dancing was contacted by the family of the late Steve Brown. Steve had been an enthusiastic dancer and participated in a dance for Parkinson's class before he died. His family wanted to see more people living with Parkinson's have the opportunity to take part in dance classes led by safe and well trained practitioners. They asked their friends and families to remember Steve by making a donation to our work.

We awarded our Steve Brown Bursary to Dr Sophie Hulbert to develop her work in collaboration with Pavillion Dance South West and Attik Dance.

Please get in touch if you would like to remember us in your will so we can continue to build a secure legacy for future generations of community dance practitioners and participants.
