Pavilion Dance South West (PDSW) seeks an Artistic Director and CEO. Pavilion Dance South West is a national dance development organisation with a dance house in Bournemouth, a regional remit across the south west and a developing leadership voice for dance nationally. PDSW are also an Arts Council England National Portfolio Organisation.

About the role
The role of Artistic Director and CEO offers a highly desirable opportunity to lead a dynamic and progressive organisation which combines a specialist venue for dance and a regional and national dance development role.

About the candidate
Pavilion Dance South West is looking for an exceptional individual with a passion for dance. The successful candidate will possess leadership skills and the energy, diplomacy and entrepreneurial imagination to take the organisation forward from its secure and stable base.

You will have a strong understanding of the sector and experience of programming and venue management as well as strategic business planning and stakeholder advocacy.

You will combine artistic vision and ambition with commercial awareness, outstanding communication skills and first class people management skills.

Contract: Full-time, 37 hours a week.
 
The post will be based at Pavilion Dance South West’s venue in Bournemouth, Pavilion Dance, in an enviable location next to the beach, with an office looking out over the sea and the beautiful Dorset coastline!
