AWA DANCE (Advancing Women's Aspirations with Dance) is a CIO (Charitable Incorporated Organisation) based in Birmingham, founded by choreographer Avatâra Ayuso. AWA DANCE is dedicated to the leadership development of women and teenage girls, using the transformative power of dance as the tool to empower their voices.
We are currently looking to recruit committed and enthusiastic candidates with an appreciation of our work. who share our values and vision. Each member of our Board brings a unique range of skills and experience, and we encourage people from all backgrounds to apply.

- Dance and/or Education Sector
- Governance (Chair/Vice-Chair or similar)
- Development (Fundraising & Sponsorship)
- Women and girls’ issues Equity
- Diversity, Inclusion and Access Safeguarding Policy Strategic
- Business Planning Community engagement.
