In 2017 Epic Arts have a wonderful opportunity to develop the organisation and spread the message that Every Person Counts to wider audiences in the UK & internationally through the development of a new Community Interest Company.
We are seeking a dynamic & experienced individual to support the development & realisation of this new phase. Working closely with the director, the role will contribute to research and development into the needs of the current inclusive arts sector in the UK & internationally, in addition to developing the dance and diversity offer for the new arm of the organisation.
Essential Experience:
- Experience of Dance and/or Theatre in the Disability Arts or Inclusive Arts sectors
- Training delivery
- Keynote/Powerpoint presentations
- Developing project proposals and fundraising bids
- Mentoring/Line management
- Project Reporting and M&E
Desirable criteria:
- Experience of developing business plans
- Experience as a creative producer or performer
- Previous knowledge of the Midlands sector useful but not essential
- Experience of working Internationally
The Attenborough Arts Centre, based in the University of Leicester, is supporting Epic Arts in its development, recognising Epic Arts as one of its valued associates. As the leading regional centre for inclusive arts practice, the AAC is providing office space and access to a wide range of facilities, skills and networks.
