Exploring Textures in Dance for Early Years: a practical movement session

Join us for an hour of practical embodied movement play and creativity with Kath Kimber-McTiffen.

Kath will facilitate a space for exploring texture and touch as a means to inspiring us to develop movement experiences for children ages 3-5 years. This session is practical so you will require a safe space to move in, comfortable clothing and refreshment.

This online event, hosted via Zoom is free of charge to Members of People Dancing and Early Years Dance Network Subscribers, and £10.00 for all other attendees. Booking deadline: Midday on Monday 20 March 2023.

About Kath Kimber-Mctiffen

Kath is a Midlands based dance artist, performer, choreographer and musician, with a portfolio career spanning 25 years. Kath has a specialism in creating dance with and for early years and families and is co-founder and co-director of touring company, Wriggle Dance Theatre. Her work is child-led, using audiences as co-creators.

Kath was recently chosen as one of the 12 international dance artists to be a part of the Little Big Dance Artists Lab at South East Dance, where she undertook a period of research into developing her practice in creating participatory performance work for early years.
