How to plan for the future: Informal business planning for independent dance artists
Location: Online
Timings: 10:00 - 13:00
This online session, led by Christina Poulton, offers dedicated time to focus on your work, what you want to do and planning for making it happen.

This is an interactive workshop using business planning tools but without the jargon and without having to write a 50 page business plan.

We will cover:

  • What you're doing: Defining your practice, what you offer and activity planning
  • Why you're doing it: What are your values and purpose, how do you want to work?
  • Who it's for: Audiences and customers, engagement, busting marketing myths
  • How much it costs: Budgeting and finance planning.

The workshop will include a series of exercises to begin business planning that is bespoke to you, with lots of opportunity for questions and sharing experiences with others in the same boat.

This Zoom event is free of charge to People Dancing Members and £15.00 for non-members.

Bookings for this event are now closed.

Booking deadline: Midday Tuesday 25 October 2022.
