Choreographic is a fully interactive programme which contains the following segments:
Extensive Study Centre including information on dance styles and history, choreographic concepts, stimuli, accompaniments, choreographic tools and production techniques.
Virtual Theatre Space in which you can create short dance phrases with a choice of lighting states and accompanying music.
Mood Board to bring together a range of items that have inspired a particular performance or work - photos, quotes, colours and textures etc.
Dance Log to keep a record of your choreographic from inspiration through to performance.
Video Library of footage from YDance, Scottish Ballet (SB) and Scottish Dance Theatre (SDT) as well as interviews with Andy Howitt (Artistic Director, YDance), Janet Smith (Artistic Director, SDT), Ashley Page (Artistic Director, SB) and Thomas Small (Artistic Director, SmallPetitKlein).
Music Library which includes 28 tracks by Scottish composer and Shooglenifty bass player Quee MacArthur - music written for companies such as YDance and Freshmess.
