Dancing with Parkinson's

‘Movement is freedom, the ebb and flow of life.

Continuous, flowing poetry in motion.

A gesture, a semaphore, messages by movement, like a good medicine

can make you feel better.

Like clouds moving over the mountains, light, fluffy, strolling

or heavy, dark, laden with raindrops.

Movement is life.’

Welcome to Dancing with Parkinson’s. We believe in the power of dance to inspire, creativity, connection and community for people living with Parkinson's, their families and loved ones. In this work, vibrant and inclusive spaces are created, where participants can express themselves, build relationships, and experience the many benefits of dancing together. Whether you are a person living with Parkinson's, or supporting a loved one, a dance teaching artist, academic, or new to the work and want to find out more, we hope you will find something that informs, inspires, challenges and connects you.
