ISTD and People Dancing partnership

ISTD members now have access to exclusive courses and training from People Dancing, specialists in community and participatory dance. These courses, which enable you to work with older adults and people with Parkinson's, are available at a special discounted rate.

If you are interested in expanding your dance practice the courses will give you an opportunity to gain a firm foundation in issues that may affect these two population groups and understand how to develop dance opportunities that will be safe and enjoyable.

The courses have been developed in partnership with leading dance artists who specialise in delivering dance with particular populations, such as David Leventhal (Dance for PD®/Mark Morris Dance Group) and Diane Amans (author of ‘Age and Dancing: Older People and Community Dance Practice’).

“I found the actual course was terrific - loved how it was short, efficient, focussed, contained all the important info, and presented in a variety of fun, engaging and accessible ways." - Philip Piggin, online course participant.

Simply select the Organisational Partners Price when making your purchase and allow 7-10 working days to receive your access code via email once you have successfully purchased an item. You will need your ISTD membership number at the point of purchase.

Multi-user license are available for organisations for groups of 6 or more leaners at an additional discount. Please email qualifications@communitydance.org.uk for further information. Additional discounts are also available for groups of 20+ users.
