To support your well-being, we are delighted to offer the option to start or end your days with energising warm-ups and reflective cool-down mediations led by celebrated African Holistic Dance practitioner, Sandra Golding.

Sandra's teachings are rooted in African tradition and culture and designed to help individuals connect with their inner selves and ancestral roots in a supportive, inclusive environment where participants of any level of movement experience can let go of their worries and find joy and fulfilment through dance.

  • Tuesday 21 July 5.45 - 6.00pm: Cool down meditation in Studio 3
  • Wednesday 22 July 9.00 - 9.45am: Warm up in Studio 3 and 5.45 – 6.00pm: Cool down mediation in Studio 3
  • Thursday 23 July 9.00 - 9.45am: Warm up in Studio 3.

About Sandra Golding

Sandra is an African Holistic Dance Practitioner, who has been immersed in the world of dance and movement for as long as she can remember including as a performer with one of Britain's most important dance companies of the 80s and 90s Kokuma. She is committed to sharing her love of her practice, fuelled by a passionate belief that dance is not just a physical expression, but a spiritual and emotional one as well.

Her teachings are rooted in African tradition and culture and designed to help individuals connect with their inner selves and ancestral roots. Her classes and workshops create a supportive, inclusive environment where participants can let go of their worries and find joy and fulfilment through dance be they seasoned dancers or beginners.
 
In addition to her work as a practitioner, Sandra is also a dedicated researcher and student of African and Caribbean dance, having studied with leading, world-class experts in this field and travelling extensively to immerse herself in the rich cultural traditions of Africa and the Caribbean.
