Course Leader, MA Creative Dance Education programme

Salary: Full-time equivalent salary is £47,329 per annum, equating to £37,863 per annum

This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive and forward-facing postgraduate experience that reflects sector developments across dance, education and creative practice.

The MA Creative Dance Education is a globally-oriented postgraduate programme that prepares artists, educators and facilitators to work across a wide range of dance education contexts. The course brings together creative practice, pedagogy and critical inquiry, supporting students to develop inclusive, responsive and forward-thinking approaches to teaching and learning.

With a strong emphasis on curriculum design, participatory practice and real-world application, the programme includes placement-based learning and engagement with diverse communities, enabling students to situate their work within contemporary social, cultural and educational contexts.

The Course Leader provides academic leadership and operational oversight for the MA Creative Dance Education programme. This role is responsible for ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive and forward-facing postgraduate experience that reflects sector developments across dance, education and creative practice.

The Course Leader leads on curriculum development, student experience, academic standards and team coordination, ensuring the programme aligns with institutional priorities and prepares graduates for diverse careers across dance education contexts globally.

Please note that teaching fro this course will primarily fall during afternoons and evenings until 8:00pm.
