The MA in Teaching and Facilitating (Creative Subjects) unlocks your potential as an arts educator, empowering you with the tools and confidence to create meaningful, inclusive, and impactful learning experiences.

This vibrant, practice-based programme has been designed for arts practitioners, educators, and facilitators passionate about making a difference in diverse learning environments.

It includes opportunities to:

Blend teaching and learning theories with your teaching practice to refine your approach
Inspire and engage learners with diverse profiles and backgrounds through innovative workshop planning
Critically explore your role as an educator, guided by experienced practitioners and educators
Develop key teaching skills that can be applied in a variety of creative contexts.

Applications for 2025 entry are now open

Entry for this course is by online application, teaching observation and interview. Applicants have the choice between in-person or video application.

Please note: an enhanced DBS check is required for those working with children and young people whilst on placement. This is processed on your behalf by NSCD.

For in-person observations and interviews please apply by:

Sunday 09 February for observations and interview week commencing Monday 17 February
Sunday 18 May for observations and interview week commencing Tuesday 27 May.

For all video applications please apply by:

Sunday 01 June.
