Let’s Dance! is now part of the NHS’s 10-year plan to promote fitness, health, and wellbeing. Dance is being officially recognised as a vital activity that improves both mental and physical health, combats loneliness, and brings sheer joy through creativity and community.
The press launch, at the Guildhall, London on Saturday 8 February 2025, included performances directed by Dame Arlene Phillips in an event showcasing dance groups from across the UK. Angela Rippon will appear on The One Show on Friday 7 February 2025 to kick off the press launch. The BBC and The Sun are supporting the campaign with articles, radio broadcasts, and a series of films highlighting the health and social benefits of dance.
Together, we’ll make Sunday 2 March 2025 a day to remember!
