National Occupational Standards - three useful guides
FCD have produced three clear and useful guides - for dance practitioners, CPD providers and employers - about how the skills dance leaders need relate to the National Occupational Standards for Dance Leadership
NOS Booklets

Dance artists need many different skills to make a living from the artform they love. In partnership with the Dance Training and Accreditation Partnership (DTAP), FCD has developed three handy booklets - for dance artists, CPD providers and employers - to illustrate how the skills dance leaders need relate to the National Occupational Standards for Dance Leadership.

Which booklet is for you?

Knowing your role

This booklet has been designed for dance leaders to help you cross-reference the National Occupational Standards with the skills that you need to be more effective practitioners. This has the benefit of helping you identify where to find training to help you fill skills gaps and identify the transferable skills you need to move into new markets.
