Are you an institution or organisation that provides higher or further level training or courses in dance? People Dancing invites lecturers and course leaders to take up Higher Education Membership

Offered exclusively to those running dance education programmes, and designed specifically with their students in mind, this is an innovative opportunity to secure a valuable range of benefits to help prepare students for professional dance practice. Higher Education Membership provides support for your programme and students with free access to a wealth of resources for the duration of their studies.

Your students will be able to access:

• their own Student Membership - at no charge for the duration of their studies, and we’ll connect with them directly with learning resources, suggested blogs, vlogs and more
• term time contact - we can meet with you and your students, once each year (subject to dates & availability), to introduce People Dancing's services and offer a current perspective on community dance practice
• online resources - covering a broad range of subjects, including downloadable factsheets and our e-newsletters
• online learning courses - exclusive free access to our online learning programmes including Risk assessment, and Developing income streams for participatory arts (currently up to 10 learning hours)
• an extensive archive of Animated, the participatory dance magazine
• further reduced fees for Our Events & Courses

At the end of their studies, Student Members can:

• convert to Professional Individual Membership to receive benefits such as public liability insurance cover for dance work and an enhanced DBS check service, saving the £10 joining fee.

Further benefits for lecturers and students:

• an enhanced DBS checks service - for staff, lecturers and teachers, and students on work placements
• the facility to join for 1, 2 or 3 years is available.
