People Dancing Student Membership benefits:

• Animated magazine: Published twice yearly, Animated can be accessed online along with an extensive library. Written by dance artists and dance/arts professionals, it reflects community dance culture in the UK and beyond
• Access to our downloadable fact sheets on a broad range of subjects, including legal compliance
• Reduced fees for People Dancing's Events & Courses
• Certificate of Membership and a People Dancing Member logo for use on your publicity.

Once you're ready to start working in dance settings, you'll need insurance cover, and possibly a DBS Check for work with vulnerable groups. Simply switch to our Professional Individual Membership for access to these benefits.

Please note; Student Memberships lapse in the month of June, three years after joining. To continue with People Dancing Membership after that time, please renew as a Professional Individual or Associate Individual Member.

Joining and payment options

Online: Join now to gain instant access to benefits using a debit/credit card or PayPal account. You'll be directed to a page to complete your details and payment. A receipt and confirmation will be sent via email.

By Phone: Call us and speak to a member of the team to join over the phone using a debit/credit card: 0116 253 3453. Office hours: 10am-5pm, Mon-Fri.

What next?

Once you have joined, we will process your membership within seven working days and send further information about your People Dancing membership by email.
