South East & London

Accessible DanceTRX Clubhouse, Church road, Swallowfield, Reading, RG7 1TJ

Tuesdays 2.30pm - 3.30pm | £8 - first class free using code Accessible100

Classes are based on the Move-Assure Dance movement for mental wellbeing framework created by Dame Darcey Bussell, Dr Peter Lovatt and Lindsey Lovatt. Classes will follow pre-choreographed dances created by Darcy Bussell and Dr Peter Lovatt. We will then discuss how we felt before during and after the using the National Health Service (NHS) five steps to mental wellbeing.

The Move-Assure Method is designed so that you have the best possible learning and wellbeing experience. So that you don’t get overwhelmed, each dance is taught slowly three times.

It is recognised by the NHS that we should participate in physical activity three times a week and dance activity is particularly good for our health and mind. A preventative approach will keep you mobile, active, energised and happy and you will connect with others in the process and have a great time!
