People Dancing Professional Qualifications will enable dancers, teaching artists and community practitioners working in participatory settings to evidence their skills and knowledge.

Our qualifications are based on national occupational standards created by the arts sector. They have been designed for adult learners who have already gained a firm foundation in their chosen art form but need to evidence the additional skills that are needed to deliver arts activities safely and successfully.

Our initial offer is four professional qualifications, supported by associated online training programmes, developed over several years through extensive consultation with individuals and employers:

Our qualifications vary in size and complexity. The level of complexity or depth of skills and knowledge is indicated by the qualifications level. The higher the level the more complex the qualification. ‘Size’ is measured in the number of hours of study required to gain the skills and knowledge needed to successfully obtain the qualification. The ‘size ‘of a qualification is indicated in its title so an ‘Award’ implies between 1 and 120 hours of learning, a ‘Certificate’ implies between 121 and 369 hours of learning and a ‘Diploma’ requires over 370 hours of learning.

The prices quoted below include options for the qualification, for the online course, and for a bundle of both together. Prices for People Dancing Members offer a discount on the standard price.
