People Dancing's Summer School 2018
Come and be part of the 10th People Dancing Summer School at De Montfort University in Leicester from 23 to 28 July 2018.

There's something for everyone whether it's learning to teach Performance-Parkour (2PK), developing your somatic practice, learning to work with new groups or exploring rep as a source of inspiration for your work. With a range of morning technique classes, world-class course tutors and free business skills development advice it's a week that's not to be missed.

You can apply for a day, for a series of courses or for the whole week, selecting the strands of greatest interest and potential value to your practice. We look forward to seeing you in the summer!

Accommodation, parking and travel information

Accommodation

We can provide very reasonable accommodation for all Summer School participants - not only to eliminate a commute but to enable you to make the most of networking with other course members. These are private rooms with showers (you will be provided with bedding and a towel), including access to a shared kitchen (no microwave) - all situated within a flat. Please note that as this is self-catering student accommodation and you will be provided with lunch but will need to cater for your own breakfast and dinner. Fully accessible rooms are available and will be allocated as required.

Liberty Park has 24-hour reception so if you arrive in Leicester early in the morning/late in the evening before your course is due to start you may go to your accommodation if you choose to do so.

Accommodation costs £28 per person per night at the Premium En-Suite rooms provided by Liberty Living: www.libertyliving.co.uk/student-accommodation/leicester/liberty-park

You may choose to arrange your own alternative accommodation. If you would like to stay at Liberty Park, please indicate this on your application form and pay with your course fees.

Parking

If you are staying with us at the accommodation in Liberty Park, there is parking available at the accommodation although this cannot be booked or guaranteed.

If you are arriving on the morning of your course, please park your car and walk up to meet us at PACE as you may not have time to go to your room beforehand. No parking is available at the PACE building.

If you are arriving the evening before your course begins please go directly to your accommodation.

If you are visiting us for the day, regrettably we cannot provide free, on-campus parking during the Summer School, however it is possible to park cheaply nearby.
